Sonoma Valley’s Lincoln Subaie selected to the USA Baseball Northwest Region National team

Sonoma Valley’s own Lincoln Subaie, a 14-year-old native and proud alum of Sonoma Little League, has earned a prestigious opportunity to compete on the national stage. This August, Lincoln will travel to Cary, North Carolina to represent the Northwest Region in the 15U division of the USA Baseball National Team Identification Series.

The USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary is home to some of the most elite young talent in the country, hosting players ages 11 to 16 who have advanced through rigorous regional tryouts. Lincoln is among 72 athletes chosen this year for a national team.

The series is divided into six geographic regions — Midwest, Northeast, Northwest, South, Southeast, and Southwest — drawing top players from both small towns and major cities across the nation.

Lincoln will compete as part of the Northwest regional team, which includes top athletes from seven states: Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Alaska. His selection reflects not only his exceptional talent but also his dedication to the game and his community.

Representing Sonoma Valley on this national platform is both an honor and a testament to Lincoln’s hard work and the strong foundation built through local youth baseball programs. As he prepares to enter high school this fall, Lincoln’s journey is just beginning.
