Get ready for an action-packed weekend as over 70 Little League baseball stars from neighboring cities descend on Sonoma for a sevent-day all-star tournament.
The District 53 11U Little League All-Star Tournament, featuring talented boys and girls ages 9 to 11, is set to take place at the Little League fields on First Street East in Sonoma from Saturday, June 28 to Friday, July 4.
The tournament begins at 10 a.m. on June 28 with Sonoma’s team debuting at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 29. Admission is free.
This eagerly anticipated tournament will showcase teams from Little League in District 53: Sonoma, Benicia, Fairfield Pacific, Napa American, Napa National, and Tri Valley. Each team’s finest players have been handpicked to compete, promising an electrifying display of skill and sportsmanship.
The 11U Sonoma All Star squad lineup includes: Adriel Tellez, Charlie Ryan, Colin Diekmann, Corbett Coakley, Jacob Ghilotti, Jacob Margreiter, Mason Prejean, Myles Norris, Nick Coffin, Sam Moll, Santino Tantlinger, and Sully Green.
“We are excited to host a District 53 All Star Tournament for the third year in a row. It is great little league baseball to watch. Come down, cheer on Sonoma and get some great food. We wish the best of luck to Sonoma Little Leagues All Star Teams as they start their tournaments this month,” said Sonoma Little League’s board directors.
The tournament will culminate in an awards ceremony, with the victorious team advancing to the Section 1 tournament, keeping their championship dreams alive.
Sonoma will also shine in three additional tournaments across the region, showcasing even more of their exceptional young talent.
The 10U All Star Roster includes: Beau Andres, Wyatt Coffey, Sebastian Cruz Hernandez, Wyatt Madden, Mason Mantalbano, Nathan Morris, Beckham Perez, Cannon Serres, Bradley Schafer, Tobin Stevens, Amari Soto-Harris, and Max Wallinger. Games will be played at Benicia Little League starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 21.
The 12U All Star Roster includes: Austin Boehm, Patrick Castillo, James Ghilotti, Logan Johnson, Kaden Lind, Luca Morse, Kingston Perez, Duke Rohlffs, Drake Schantz, James Sebastiani, Mateo Smith, and Levi Subaie. Games will be played at Napa Little League starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday June 28.
The Intermediate All Stars include: Max Garcia, Tano Luddy, Jaxen McDermott, Jeff Parker, Sebastian Spadaro, Jackson Weaver, Ford Clark, Prestin Todd, Emmet Margeriter, Alexis Alvarez, Erick Hernandez, Max Robledo, and Tristen Arden. Their All Star season came to an end last weekend.
